Washington – The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense program, announces its trademark has been registered with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, effective November 17, 2020.
ESGR’s Public Affairs Operating Instruction 1250.40, “ESGR Public Affairs Policy & Procedures,” states that any requester, whether a government entity or private party, must obtain Headquarters (HQ) ESGR’s written authorization to use any ESGR name, logo, or trademark, including copy and design.
HQ ESGR Public Affairs will review all requests for ESGR logo use. When a determination is made to grant permission, HQ ESGR Public Affairs will issue a written license to the authorized organization that defines the scope and duration of use, and provide the trademark files.
