BREMERTON, Wash. – The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA), the Federal law that establishes rights and responsibilities for uniformed Service members and their civilian employers, apply not only to private businesses, but to state and federal agencies as well.
OAK HARBOR, Wash. – Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island Budget Manager Jamie Parker for the Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 10 (CPRW-10) was presented with a Patriot Award at her office by John Van Dalen, ombudsman for the Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, in recognition of extraordinary support of her employees for serving in the United States Armed Forces.
YAKIMA, Wash. – Samuel Briggs, Supervisory Special Agent of Homeland Security Investigations, was presented with a Patriot Award, by Jon Ison, west central area chair for the Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee, and Yolanda Orozco, employer outreach representatives for the Washington ESGR, in recognition of his support of his employees who serve in the Reserve Components.
OMAHA, Neb. – Nebraska Medicine Director of Nurse Anesthesia, Tim Glidden was presented with the Department of Defense Patriot Award during a virtual presentation by Ron Boro, a volunteer representing the Nebraska Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
