FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. – Pennsylvania ESGR Ombudsman held their annual one-day conference to discuss best practices in presenting Pre and Post Mobilization briefings to Guard and Reserve forces.

ESGR was originated with the purpose to promote cooperation and understanding between reserve component service members and their civilian employers.
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Manager Karla Ramusack was presented the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award at a gathering of other employees at the front of the hospital by John Van Dalen, ombudsman for the Washington ESGR, in recognition of extraordinary support she provides to her employee who serves the Washington Air National Guard.
WASHINGTON – In this our 50th year, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) proudly announces the 30 finalists for the 2022 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. The finalists include small and large private and public sector employers nominated by a National Guard or Reserve Component employee employed in their organization. ESGR received 2,777 nominations for this prestigious award for employers throughout the 50 states, Guam-CNMI, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and District of Columbia.
TACOMA, Wash. – Ryan Babbit, owner of Babbit Construction, and Patrick Armitage, supervisor at Babbit Construction were presented with a Patriot Award recently by Ohad Lowy, south sound area co-chair for the Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, in recognition of their support of their employees who serve in the Reserve Components. Babbit and Armitage were nominated by Army Reserve Pfc. James Rasmussen.
