EDINA, Minn. – Master Sgt. Robert Theriot U.S. Army Reserve is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his employment supervisor, Sharene Hicks with Guy Carpenter & Company LLC.
ST. PAUL, Minn. – On September 15 the 334 Brigade Engineer Battalion (BEB) conducted a Bosslift for twenty-seven Soldier member employers. The day started with a Chinook helicopter ride from the Army Aviation Support Facility 1 in St. Paul to Camp Ripley.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. – Kayla Christy, the Director of After School Care at Visitation School, received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriotic Employer Award Aug. 8. Visitation is a private pre-K-12 school that is coed through 5th grade, then all girls from 6-12th grades.
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The 52nd Annual Conference of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) convened at the Mayo Civic Center Aug. 13 – 17. The Minnesota ESGR Committee manned a booth and answered Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) and Employer Award questions by Guard members from all 50 states and three US Territories including the District of Columbia.
PRESTON, Minn. – Army Reserve Maj. Corinne Haugen nominated Judge Matthew Opat, Minnesota Judicial Branch 3rd District, for an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award in September 2022.
