HELENA, Mont. – During the Sept. 20 Lewis and Clark County Commission meeting Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (Montana ESGR) volunteer Tim Fox presented Lewis and Clark County Public Works Supervisors Jess Makus and Christian Lehnert with the Department of Defense Spouse Patriot Award for their outstanding support of their employee Jade Wills who is the spouse of a member of the Montana Army National Guard.

GREAT FALLS, Mont.-Here comes the sunrise! The Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve volunteer team started their Saturday morning in mid-August at 0530 (5:30 am), welcoming 44 employers and community leaders for a C130 boss lift with the Montana Air National Guard 120th Airlift Wing in Great Falls, Montana.
GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognized J. Scott Vosen of Air Water Soil, LLC with a Department of Defense Patriot Award. The award was presented during an employer C130 Boss lift flight at the Montana Air National Guard in recognition of extraordinary support of his employee serving in the Montana Air National Guard Tech. Sgt. Ross Remsen.
THREE FORKS, Mont. – Pam Nichols, Clinic Manager for the Montana VA Health Care System Bozeman and Anaconda Community Based Outpatient Clinics, was awarded a Department of Defense Patriot Award in recognition of her extraordinary support of her employee, Master Sgt. Jessie Trimbach, serving in the Montana Air National Guard 120th Airlift Wing Medical Group.
THREE FORKS, Mont. – Montana employers, flying in a Montana Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk and a CH-47 Chinook experienced a bird’s eye view of Missouri Headwaters State Park. The Park, in southwestern Montana, preserves the historic location where Lewis and Clark discovered the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers creating the headwaters of the 2,300 mile Missouri River.
KALISPELL, Mont. – Despite a busy week spent rescuing Montana citizens stranded by floodwaters, the Montana Army National Guard 1-189th General Support Aviation Battalion (1-189th GSAB) was back in training mode for an employer helicopter flight, or boss lift as it is termed, in Kalispell at the end of June.
HELENA, Mont. – Saturday’s don’t get any better than this! Helena area employers were treated to a close up view of the “Sleeping Giant” while taking a UH 60 Black Hawk during an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) helicopter flight or bosslift. The well-known local landmark is named for a profile of Beartooth Mountain and lower elevation rock outcroppings that resemble a reclining human figure as visible from Helena.
