ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. – Chief Petty Officer Ryan Daniels, U.S. Navy Reserve, is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his employer, Health Partners Director of Security, Cassey Hoeschen.

Methodist Hospital in recognition of Health Partners & Park Nicollet Health Services’ received the award Oct. 7 in support of their employee’s service to the United States Navy Reserve.

Daniels was very appreciative of Director Hoeschen’s help and assistance with his service deployments and wanted to properly recognize and honor him. Also present was Peter Bartling, a Department of Defense ESGR Volunteer.

ESGR is a Department of Defense Office that develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the National Guard and Reserves through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws. ESGR also provides assistance in resolving conflicts between Service members and their employers. This year, ESGR celebrates 50 years of excellence in support of the Reserve Components and their civilian employers.
