HAMILTON, Wash. - Rich McCabe, vice president of Military Programs, and Garret Manfull, project manager, of Janicki Industries, were presented with a Patriot Award by John Lo, employer outreach coordinator for the Washington Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve in recognition of extraordinary support of their employees serving in the Guard and Reserve. McCabe and Manfull were nominated by Army Reserve Capt. Michael Huo, a project lead at Janicki Industries.
“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Lo. “By valuing the military service of their Guard and Reserve employees, employers are directly supporting the readiness and retention of our All-Volunteer Force, and our national defense.”
“It’s a two-way street relationship,” said Manfull. “We love supporting our veterans and reservists. In turn, we have access to a large pool of qualified and skilled work force that benefits our company.”
