KINGSHILL, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Home Depot, St. Croix signed the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve’s Statement of Support during the Virgin Islands St. Croix Briefing with the Boss recently.
The Virgin Islands Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve committee, a Department of Defense program, thanks The Home Depot, St. Croix for their support of National Guard and Reserve service members. Aidan Malcolm, store manager, signed the Statement of Support at the committee's St. Croix Briefing with the Boss, recently held at Gertrude’s Restaurant.
Malcolm in his remarks stated why he signed the statement.
“I am a part of an organization that makes it a part of their culture to ensure that service members get recognized and have a chance of fair employment,” said Malcom.
The committee salutes Home Depot for its years of support to military service members. By signing, it joins the hundreds of thousands of employers who have signed Statements of Support, pledging their support to Guard and Reserve employees. For 50 years, ESGR has strived to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve.
