TREVOSE, Pa. – Pennsylvania Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense program, announced that MCB Management recently received nine Patriot Awards and a Seven Seals Award in recognition of extraordinary support of employees serving in the Pennsylvania Guard and Reserve.

MCB Management’s Steve Hand, Yardley Klinger, Greg Beer, Ralph Liberio (CEO), Abigail Pressler, James LaSala, John Letzo, Anthia Kadbinthara, Paul Palelogos and Mark Kimsal were nominated for the Patriot Awards by Petty Officer 3rd Class Ollie Days, U.S. Navy Reserve, Joint Base MaGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

In nominating the NCB Management team members, Days stated: “I get great support for my training and deployments from everyone at NCB Mgt. Everyone cares about my military service; they go out of their way to provide a welcome back celebration once training is complete. The experience gained in military has helped me succeed in my civilian life.”

Wes Craig, Pennsylvania Chair Emeritus and Southeast ESGR Area Chair, presented the Patriot Award to the nine awardees and the Seven Seals Award to CEO Liberio.  In presenting the awards, Craig commented: “This is the first time I have ever presented this many Patriot Awards at one employer in my 15 years as an ESGR volunteer. The support for Ollie was strong and very sincere.”  Craig also noted that “All (awardees) thanked ESGR for the recognition and said they were honored to help out Ollie.”

Upon receiving the Seven Seals Award, Liberio stated that “members of the Guard and Reserve make great employees and I want to hire more!”  He also said that “Ollie is one of his best employees and credits his military training in developing him into such an excellent employer.”

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. ESGR facilitates and promotes a cooperative culture of employer support for National Guard and Reserve service by developing and advocating mutually beneficial initiatives, recognizing outstanding employer support, increasing awareness of applicable laws and policies, resolving potential conflicts between employers and their service members, and acting as the employers’ principal advocate within DoD. Paramount to ESGR's mission is encouraging employment of Guardsmen and Reservists who bring integrity, global perspective and proven leadership to the civilian workforce.
