MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – An Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award was presented to Lorena Grimm, a production manager with Boston Scientific here Dec. 16.
The award was originated by Capt. Thanh Truong, an Iowa Army National Guard member, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, Army National Guard in Sioux City, Iowa.
Truong, was supported Lorena Grimm as he recently returned from a deployment overseas and civil support mission in Iowa. His ongoing military leadership training enhances his positive style of management provided to his civilian team of medical device specialists.
At the same ceremony, Thomas Claussen, the Human Resources Manager, received an ESGR-Minnesota challenge coin in appreciation of his encouragement to Truong’s extensive managerial talents.
