PLYMOUTH, Minn. – Jay Zabel of Stryker Company in Plymouth received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award Dec. 16.
Award nominator, Spc. Zoua Baker is extremely proud and thankful to present the award to her supervisor and said, “Mr. Zabel is very understanding and supportive of my service in the Minnesota Army National Guard, especially during my deployment in 2019-20 to Kuwait and state active duty in 2021. Mr. Zabel continues to support me during my drill weekends and is willing to work around my schedule. We are a small company and my colleagues have to pick up the pace when I’m not there. Mr. Zabel encourages our team and in turn, they too support me and my mission.”
