ESGR in the News

PIPESTONE, Minn. – Cpl. Anthony Sievert of the Minnesota Army National Guard, is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his supervisors Chief Deputy Michael Hamann and Sheriff Keith Vreeman of the Pipestone County Sheriff's Department Nov 9.

The award was given to Vreeman and Hamann in support of their employee's service to the Minnesota National Guard.

Sievert was very appreciative of their support and assistance with his Guard duties and time away for drills and wanted to honor both of them.

Attending the ceremony from ESGR was Doug Broich the Region 5 Chair for ESGR/Minnesota Committee member.

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
