LITHIA, Fla. – Michael Whiting, Senior Director, ECS Integrated Solutions in Lithia received the Department of Defense Patriot Award for his support of the Guard and Reserve members that work for the organization.
Whiting was nominated for the award by U.S. Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Nicholas Hazzis. Roger Trout, Florida ESGR vice chair presented the award to Whiting. “Mike is always encouraging me to do more,” said Hazzis. “I have talked about commissioning as an officer, and he is the first to tell me to do it. He is very supportive of employees service in the Guard and Reserve as a retired active-duty service member himself.”
