BELLEVUE, Wash. – Trevi Housholder, senior manager, Vulnerability Management & Assessment for the Boeing Company, was presented with a Patriot Award Feb. 25 by Larry Kirchner, military outreach representative for the Washington Committee Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.  The award was presented in a virtual meeting which was attended by many of Housholder’s peers from around the country.

Housholder was nominated by Missouri Army National Guard Warrant Officer Michael Torino, a vulnerability management assessor at the Boeing Company, for her support of his military service. “The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Kirchner. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”

Torino expressed his appreciation for the support and accommodation provided by Housholder, citing her support and understanding of his reserve military duties. “Trevi displays a rare blend of technical and managerial skills that make working for her while serving in the National Guard a privilege,” said Torino.

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
