HORSHAM, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Freedom Award Nomination reviewing team held its annual review of award submissions. There were 125 total submissions across the three submission categories. Of the total submissions, the 53 nominations were reviewed as potential award submissions in each of the three categories: 34 in the Large Business, 13 in the Small Business and 6 in the Public Sector.
Each member of the reviewing team had a week to review and evaluate the merit of each nomination and ranked them on the completeness and merit to arrive at a score. Review committee members submitted there ranking to the Freedom Award Nomination committee chairperson, Chair Emeritus Wes Craig. Craig tabulated the rankings and listed the top two or three rated nominations in each of the three categories.
Committee members met via an MS Teams session held Saturday, January 9. Members discussed each top scored award submissions and assigned individuals to contact each employer point of contact for additional information. Information gathered will be compiled and submitted to Craig for his summarizing comments and recommendation to the state Chair, Marty Kuhar by January 21.
