Huchinson, Minn. - Sgt. Andrew Rairdon of the Army Reserve recently presented the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his supervisor Michael Pudwill of the Knife River Corp.
Rairdon presented Pudwill the award October 9 in Hutchinson in recognition of Pudwill’s outstanding support of his service in the Army Reserve. Sgt. Rairdon was very appreciative of Mr. Pudwill’s support and assistance, especially during times he had to be away from his job, stating, "because of great employers like Knife River I am able to focus on my mission and not worry about my position or job being gone when I return."
ESGR is a Department of Defense program, which seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
