PLYMOUTH, Neb. – Bruce Wollenburg, Ryan Bartels and Ross Wollenburg owners of D & K Agri-Sales, was recently presented with three separate Patriot Awards by Bruce Wood, a Nebraska Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve volunteer. The award was in recognition of outstanding support of their employee serving in the Guard and Reserve.

Wollenburg was nominated for being highly supportive of the Nebraska Army National Guard by his guard component employee, Sgt. Taylor Siebrandt, a member of the Army National Guard.

In Taylor’s nomination, he wrote: … “Bruce is one of three owners of the company and I work directly underneath the three owners. When required to attend monthly training Bruce has not thought twice if I have to miss time with them to do my drill. When I return, we always sit down and he is very intrigued to hear what we did at this drill weekend. Bruce, along with the other two owners 100%, fully supportive of my life decision to be a part of the Army National Guard and are more than willing to put their own business in a bind just to allow me to fulfill my passion and perform the asked of extra duty..”

“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Wood in his presentation. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units, and it’s a pleasure for me to recognize D & K Agri-Sales with this award.”

D & K Agri-Sales also signed an ESGR Statement of Support publicly announcing their support for all Guard and Reserve members.
