QTS Data Centers Supervisor Receives Patriot Award

  • QTS Data Centers Supervisor Receives Patriot Award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Kansas Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) a Department of Defense program, announced Jana Moore, a supervisor at QTS Data Centers,  was awarded a Patriot Award for her outstanding support of a member of the Georgia Army National Guard.

Moore was nominated by Staff Sgt. Alex Prince of the  116th Engineering Squardron.

According to Rod Moyer, ESGR State Chair, ”The Patriot award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who, like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve.  When members of the National Guard or the Reserve answer their nation’s call, the effects of their absence go beyond themselves and their immediate families. The regular full-time employers of those deployed Soldiers must account for their absence and motivate the staff left behind to cover down on duties that would otherwise be left undone.”

The award was presented by Diane Boeger, ESGR area chair.
