Morgan Stanley supervisors receive Department of Defense Patriot Awards

  • Morgan Stanley supervisors receive Department of Defense Patriot Awards

NEW YORK – Three Morgan Stanley supervisors were recognized in New York City July 16 for their outstanding support of U.S. Navy Reserve Capt. Jarret Roth.

Bernard Costello, Michael Devine, and Patrick Haskell, all received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award.

Even a cursory glance of Roth's nominations told the story of an impressive culture of support for the Guard and Reserve at Morgan Stanley. Not only did the company continue salary and full family benefits, it kept in regular contact with his family and supported his children's athletic events and dance recitals.

This for a new hire who, after one month on the job, received notice for a one year deployment!

Presentation was held in large conference room adjacent to trading floor. A picture shows 50-60 jammed into room - others were outside the conference room watching thru the windows who joined in with a standing ovation for the recipients following my presentation.
