BOSTON Emily Dallman, manager of Massachusetts Water Resource Authority was presented with a Patriot Award April 11 by John Pelose, Area Chair for the Massachusetts Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve in recognition of extraordinary support of her employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.

Dallman was nominated for being highly supportive of the Unites States Air Force Reserves by her Reserve Component employee, Senior Airman Ian Duffin.

“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Pelose. “Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”

“Over the past twelve plus months Emily Dallman, along with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority has worked tirelessly to ensure I am fully informed and aware of changes and needed items for my transition” said Duffin.

Executive Director, Fred Laskey reaffirmed the MWRA’s commitment to our Guard and Reserve Members by signing a new Statement of Support.

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
