ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – California Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office, announced CEO and President Martha Daniel of Information Management Resources was honored Feb. 24 with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of her employee serving in the Guard and Reserve.

“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Andy Wiktorowicz, California ESGR state chair. Daniel was nominated for being highly supportive of the USAR by her Reserve Component employee, Capt. Hyung Lim. Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”

Lim states: “Being an Army vet, Martha is always supportive of veterans, Reservists and Guardsmen.  She made a policy of paying for two weeks of military pay per year.  She was understanding and supportive when I received orders for two-week training with less than a week’s worth of notice.”
