ESGR in the News

11

MAUMEE, OH - On April 10, two managers at Rolled Alloys in Maumee, Ohio (formerly in Temperance, Mich) were presented with the ESGR Patriot Award. Nominated by Air Force Maj Phil Parenteau of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, these supervisors were awarded for their outstanding support during Parenteau's civilian career with Rolled Alloys.

Josh Messerole, Quality Director and former Navy (pictured left) and Jim Emmert, Vice President and former Army (pictured middle) were Parenteau's direct managers during his time at Rolled Alloys. He praised their support of his military service and stated, "I'm very glad to have left on such great terms after everything that Josh and Jim did for me and with how accommodating they were when I received my orders." Parenteau moved into a full time job as a federal civilian at the Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts last fall.

Rolled Alloys also signed the ESGR Statement of Support, adding them to the many employers who choose to publicly recognize their support of our Guard and Reserve service members. To learn more about the SOS visit esgr.mil/mi.

Presenting the awards is ESGR Michigan Committee Public Affairs Director, Audra Walter.
