SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations Sam Veltri at Barton Malow in Southfield, received the ESGR Patriot Award recently. Veltri was nominated by Maj. Hernando C. Flowers, U.S. Army Reserve and Workforce Development Manager at Barton Malow.

“Sam embodies the essence of ESGR recognition through his exemplary support and appreciation for my commitment to serving the country,” said Flowers. “He consistently acknowledges and praises my dedication, recognizing the significance of my service. Moreover, he goes beyond mere acknowledgement by actively highlighting my transferable skills, showcasing a deep understanding of my potential beyond the immediate role. His genuine interest in my experiences is evident through meaningful conversations where he attentively inquires and discusses at length, demonstrating his commitment to understanding my journey and providing unwavering support. Such leadership qualities make Sam highly deserving of ESGR recognition, reflecting his dedication to fostering a supportive environment for military service members like myself.”
