WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Comcast Florida Region renewed their commitment as a Patriotic Employer by signing a Department of Defense ESGR Statement of Support May 30. Comcast Florida Region Senior Vice President Jeff Buzzelli, and Comcast Florida Region Vice President for Human Resources Carlos Botero, represented the company during the signing ceremony.
By signing the statement, Comcast affirmed their continued commitment to advocate and support employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve. Comcast first signed a statement in 2018 and continues to employ veterans, National Guard and Reserve service members. They are part of a cadre of Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, state, and federal agencies across the Nation that demonstrates official support for the military.
During the ceremony, U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Joseph McElhose, a Comcast specialist 2, Construction, also recognized his leadership for their support of his military service. He is assigned to the 652nd Engineering Company in Hammond, Wisconsin.
