JUPITER, Fla. – Timo Tervola, CEO of Tactical Revolution, received the Department of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award during a presentation here March 30. Theodore Pernal, who is a Tactical Revolution employee, nominated Tervola for the award.
Pernal, who also serves as a Warrant Officer in the Florida Army National Guard, nominated Tervola because of the deep understanding he has displayed for military commitments. “He has consistently accommodated my schedule for drills, training, and schools beyond the Guard’s normal service requirements, ensuring a seamless transition between civilian and military roles,” said Pernal. “This flexibility has been vital in reducing the stress and logistical challenges often associated with juggling these two crucial aspects of my life.”
Tanya Tyson, Florida ESGR Volunteer and Ombudsman, presented the award and also facilitated Tervola’s signing of the ESGR Statement of Support. By signing the statement, Tervola affirmed his company’s continued commitment to advocate and support employees serving in the Guard and Reserve. Tactical Revolution joined a cadre of Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, state, and federal agencies across the Nation in demonstrating official support for the armed forces.
“He [Tervola] exemplifies the qualities of leadership and support the Patriot Award seeks to recognize,” said Pernal.
