ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – The Above and Beyond Award was presented to the Godfrey Chiropractic & Wellness in Alexandria Jan. 29. This prestigious award was presented on behalf of the Department of Defense by the Minnesota Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Committee.

Accepting the award were Dr. Marc Godfrey, Dr. Jon Godfrey and Dr. Justin Godfrey, of Godfrey Chiropractic & Wellness. This award is given in limited numbers by State Committees to employers who have had at least one of their supervisors or managers recognized with a Patriot Award and who have signed an ESGR Statement of Support.

This award will be given to only 30 businesses this year, from hundreds of Patriot Award nominations received in Minnesota. Megan Diedrich employee of Godfrey Chiropractic nominated them for the Patriot Award for their support and understanding to her and her husband while he has been in the Guards and deployed.
