CHESTERFIELD, Mich. - Congratulations to Manager Mike Gibbons, at Discount Tire for receiving the ESGR Patriot Award. Gibbons was nominated by Petty Officer 2nd Class Yuri Estrella of the U.S. Navy Reserve. Estrella stated, “My supervisor, Mike Gibbons, was very flexible for my work schedule. He was always lenient toward my military obligations. He acknowledged my leadership qualities from the military by rewarding me with elevated position and pay.”
Estrella has since moved to California and his manager said, "Yuri returned to California and we miss him. It was wonderful to have him here. He was always so friendly, professional, and humble. He is welcome back anytime."
