RICHFIELD, Minn. – U.S. Navy Reserve Lt. Christopher Garazatua, is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his employment supervisor, Shawn Calabrase. The award was given April 4 at the Best Buy Headquarters in recognition of Mr. Calabrase’s support of his service to the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Garazatua was very appreciative of Calabrase’s support and assistance with his reserve obligations and wanted to honor him. Also present was Hiroshi “Yoshi” Asato, an ESGR Ombudsman and Minnesota Committee member. ESGR is a Department of Defense program which seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
