ST. CLOUD, Minn. – 1st Lt. Bobby Lee of the Air Force Reserve, is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his civilian supervisor, Brad Lantto. The award was given March 24 at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Medical Center in recognition of Lantto’s support of Lee’s service to the Air Force Reserve.

Lee was very appreciative of Brad’s support and assistance with his service and wanted to honor him. He stated that Brad is a Veteran and highly supportive and accommodating of his service. Lee also thanked his co-workers, Registered Nurses Jodie Schreiner and Sheralyn Sperling, for covering his duties when he is away for his military service. Also present was Chad Sackett, an ESGR Minnesota Committee member.

ESGR is a Department of Defense office that develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the National Guard and Reserve through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws.
