MANKATO, Minn. – Congratulations to Sarah Darrington for receiving the ESGR Patriot Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in recognition of her support for her military employee, Spc. Alexis Adler, who nominated Sarah for this award. Adler is with the Minnesota National Guard, at Mankato.
Adler, an employee of Knowledge Beginnings of Rochester, Minnesota stated she is grateful to her employer for all the support when she is away from work. Sarah sends me pictures of my children when they are at the daycare when I am gone. This gives me peace of mind so I can focus solely on my mission. SPC Adler also goes on to say: I would like to recognize all those I work with, they are all rock stars and treat the children as their own. Sarah even gave me Veterans Day off with pay – even though she is not expected to do so. The company even celebrated Veterans day with the kids. Adler, along with ESGR Committee Members Paul Ragatz and Trish Gathje, presented the Patriot Award to Sarah at Knowledge Beginning in Rochester Feb. 15. In addition to presenting a Patriot Award, Sarah Darringon signed an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Statement of Support, confirming that the company joins other employers in pledging:
