ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Sgt. Andrew Vey of the Minnesota Army National Guard, is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to his civilian supervisor, Jesse Juell. The award was given on Feb. 20 at Marco Technologies in recognition of Juell’s support of Vey’s service to the Minnesota National Guard.

Sgt. Vey was very appreciative of Jesse’s support and assistance with his service and wanted to honor him. Vey stated that Jesse sees his service as a benefit to the company and that Jesse is an incredible supervisor and a true patriot. Also present was Chad Sackett, an ESGR Minnesota Committee member.

ESGR is a Department of Defense office that develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the National Guard and Reserve through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws.

ESGR also provides assistance in resolving conflicts between Service members and their employers. ESGR celebrates over 50 years of excellence in support of the Reserve Components and their civilian employers.
