HASTING, Minn. – Newly promoted Spc. Ryan Sellars of the Army National Guard presented, along with ESGR Everett Doolittle, the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award to his supervisor Sam Senjem of Ace Hardware Dec. 19.
Ryan said those throughout Ace Hardware have supported him and make it easier for his service in the Guard. He passed on a special thanks to Sam Senjem and owner Jake Morri, saying that they always went far above and beyond in making sure he could meet his service obligation and never made him feel he was a burden and, in fact, made him feel he was greatly appreciated.
During the presentation of the Patriot Award Jake Morri emphasized just how proud he was of Ryan for his work and service and then signed a “Statement of Support” demonstrating Ace Hardware's commitment to assisting its military employees.
