BILLINGS, Mont. – Dirk Moler of Wilson Cabinetry in Billings, received an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award for outstanding support of his Reserve Component employee Sgt. 1st Class Zachary Dalin who is a member of the Wyoming Army National Guard 213th Regional Training Institute.

Dalin works in Billings but travels 390 miles south to Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center in Guernsey, for his military duties. Montana ESGR volunteer Brynn Schwarz presented the award.

The Patriot Award recognizes supervisors and bosses nominated by a Guardsman or Reserve employees for support provided directly to the nominator. Dalin stated in his written nomination, “My employer goes out of his way to recognize the contribution and sacrifices made to be a part of the Wyoming Army National Guard. He is more than supportive of my service and appreciates the dedication I have to our country.”

Each state has a Regional Training Institute and that RTI is missioned through the schools’ process from Headquarters, Department of the Army on down to train a certain course or set of courses to meet Army National Guard and active component requirements.

RTIs provide training on subjects ranging from leadership courses needed for a promotion to functional training on specific systems, equipment, and procedures as well as courses for those transitioning to a new military operational specialty.

ESGR celebrates 50 years of working to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. Thank you, Dirk Moler of Wilson Cabinetry, for your continued support of Dalin. Citizen warriors like him cannot defend and protect US citizens at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families.
