California ESGR is comprised of dedicated and trained volunteers and staff. We will develop and promote employer support for Guard and Reserve service by advocating relevant initiatives, recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws, and resolving conflict between employers and service members. Through our Military Outreach programs we educate all levels of military commands regarding USERRA, and the rights and responsibilities they derive from the law. Through our Employer Outreach programs we provide awards requested by the service member employee for their supervisors who go above and beyond the law to offer their employees the support they need. We also provide knowledge and understanding of USERRA to employers at no cost. Through our Ombudsman program we bridge the gap in understanding between the employee, employer, and USERRA so both parties can make the correct decision as the law applies. We invite all Californians to join us as volunteers as we assist our National Guard and Reserves and our great California employers. The ESGR motto says it all, "WE ALL SERVE!"
