Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (MT ESGR) has 26 dedicated volunteers and staff working throughout the Big Sky Country to gain and maintain employer support for the Guard and Reserve by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the Uniformed Services Employment Reemployment Rights Act, resolving conflicts through mediation, and connecting military service members and veterans with employment resources.

MT ESGR strives to develop and promote a culture in which Montana employers support and value the military service of their employees.  Employers are encouraged to hire Guard and Reserve members who represent drug-free employees and enrich a workplace with leadership and professionalism.  Appreciation for civilian employers is promoted among the Guard and Reserve with nominations for special Department of Defense awards.
