Indiana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (INESGR) is a Department of Defense agency, led and operated by dedicated volunteers and staff whose mission is to gain and maintain employer support for the Guard and Reserve by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of USERRA, resolving conflicts through mediation and developing initiatives to increase employment opportunities for military service members and veterans.

With the dedication of over 75 volunteers across Indiana, ESGR reaches out to employers and military service members in functional areas such as Employer and Military Outreach, Public Affairs, Mediation, Training, and Employment Programs throughout the State.

TSgt Sawn Summers and TSgt Robert Sadlon of the 315th Maintenance Group, show their support for ESGR by posting the ESGR flag next to the American and Air Force flags, on the top of a C-17 Globemaster III. Since Sept 11, 2001, the 315th AW has been directly involved with the transporting of hundreds of thousands of passengers and millions of tons of cargo in support operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and other humanitarian relief missions. The Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Air Force Reserve announced this week a decrease in activated reservists while the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Air National Guard and Coast Guard Reserve announced an increase of activated National Guard members and reservists. The net collective result is 328 additional National Guard members and reservists activated in comparison to last week. Learn More.
