Colorado Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (COESGR) is a Department of Defense office, led and operated by dedicated volunteers and staff whose mission is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of USERRA, resolving conflicts through mediation and developing initiatives to increase employment opportunities for military service members and veterans. This dedicated field committee numbers a continuing growing cadre of well over

184 volunteers reaching out to employers and military service members in nine different functional areas such as Employer and Military Outreach, Public Affairs, Ombudsmen, Training, and Special Programs throughout the State and for many, serving in more than one functional area.

October 17, 2014Sony Pictures Entertainment signs Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve
CULVER CITY, Calif. – Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense office, announced that Michael Lynton, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), today signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve. Lynton signed the pledge in a ceremony held at the SPE Lot in Culver City. He was joined by Paul Mock, ESGR National Chairman. Learn More.

October 07, 2014National Guard (in Federal Status) and Reserve activated as of Sept. 30, 2014

WASHINGTON – The Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Air Force Reserve, and the Coast Guard Reserve announced a decrease in activated National Guard members and reservists this week, while the Navy Reserve and the Air National Guard announced an increase of activated National Guard members and reservists. The net collective result is a decrease of 485 activated National Guard members and reservists in comparison to last week.
