New York - James Cahill, president of Drexel Hamilton was presented with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award Feb. 23.
Hamilton was nominated by U.S. Navy Reserve Ensign Joseph Krulder who flew into New York City for the presentation. Other Service member employees of Drexel Hamilton were in uniform for the presentation which took place on the company’s trading floor and attended by the entire staff. Cahill is a Gold Star dad in addition to an exceptionally enthusiastic supporter of the Guard, Reserve and veterans.
Currently Drexel Hamilton has 100 employees of which 44 are veterans and 22 of those veterans suffered significant wounds in battle. In Cahill’s words, “we turn no vet away.”
