MANCHESTER, N.H. – New Hampshire Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) recognized the outstanding support of employers from across the state Saturday, May 11, at the 2013 Annual Planning and Awards Conference (APAC) held at St. Anselm College in Manchester. Each year New Hampshire National Guardsmen and Reservists or their family members nominate supportive employers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in standing behind our citizen warriors while they are deployed on foreign soil or away for military service domestically.

Smyrna, Tenn. - An Employment Workshop was held in Smyrna, Tennessee, February 12-14, 2013.  Material covered included employment searching, Hero2Hired, resume writing and mock interviews. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) member John Rutherford delivered the training to Tennessee Guardsment and Reservist.

Cookeville, Tenn. - Dwight Henry, morning radio personality with WHUB “The Hub” radio station in Cookeville, Tennessee (TN), has been a very enthusiastic supporter of veterans, Guardsmen and Reservists in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. He has invited the Disabled Veterans Outreach Specialist from the TN Dept. of Labor to appear on his morning radio show 19 times over the last 16 months to promote veterans employment, training, education, and other such opportunities. Tennessee ESGR Military Outreach Director Alex Horony has been featured many times as well.
