Fiscal Year 2016 Annual Report

The 2016 Guard and Reserve Support Network Annual Report showcases the tremendous efforts of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Service Member and Family Readiness, and the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program.  Together, these programs provide direct support to ensure the readiness of our National Guard and Reserve Service members, their loved ones, and their employers.

The overwhelming successes shown throughout this Annual Report are a direct result of the tremendous efforts from our team of nearly 4,000 volunteers, whose combined total of 235,417 hours equates to a $5.55 million return on investment. This, coupled with the positive resolution of 1,197 Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act cases, resulted in a $4.56 million cost avoidance to the Federal government, for a total savings of $10.11 million. These results are a testimony to our supportive employers, ESGR staff, and the men and women who proudly serving in the National Guard and Reserve.

Throughout Fiscal Year 2016, one thing was clear: ESGR volunteers continue to make great things happen!
